Built on a thirty-year standard
Archer Construction began more than thirty years ago with Robert Archer — a carpenter who became a builder, and went on to grow one of Melbourne’s most respected construction firms. With his partner, David, Robert set the standard the company still holds today: honest work, exacting detail, and a real loyalty to the people we build for. That standard now passes to the next generation — a close-knit family team of Emily, Daniel and Marcus Archer, alongside Paul Whitfield.

We take on each client’s vision, and the architect’s ambition, as our own — bringing the experience and foresight to lift the finished home and smooth the path to it. Our way of working is open by design: you have a clear line of sight over your project at every stage, which brings confidence and a genuine sense of control. Working closely with our team and a select group of trades, we bring each home to life with craft, detail and a distinctive sense of care — and because we stay close to the work, we catch the difficult moments early and resolve them before they ever reach you.

You keep full visibility over the project, the room to adjust as things evolve, and control of your budget — never at the expense of the result.

You provide the detailed “For Construction” set — the architectural and engineering drawings.

We engage a building surveyor to begin the permit process.
